Welcome to the White Route of the Glenn Sebastian Nature Trail, a hiking trail in Mobile teeming with wildlife and natural beauty. Everything from alligators to mushrooms lives here in some way, and we always strive to share our love of nature.
dr Glenn Sebastian, a university professor emeritus, is the namesake of the trail. He inspired geology and geography students for decades, and his legacy lives on in this beautiful piece of land.
Two miles of beautiful nature trails not only give you a great excuse to stretch your legs, but an adventure this beautiful is hard to pass up. The area has stunning scenery all along the trail.
On the boardwalk section of the trail, the water is beautiful in many seasons and offers great birding opportunities in the right months. Picture book!
With the loop around, the hike is child’s play without major differences in altitude or navigational obstacles. The loop trail is easy to follow, and as long as you’re prepared for bugs and other natural phenomena, you’re good to go.
Although this road is not very long, the beauty and educational opportunities are always here to keep you entertained. Make sure you don’t leave anything behind, including leftover food, and only take photos.
